UNIQUE IDEAS
As you can see on my website, I created a fashion and lifestyle blog that shows a little glimpse into my life and my interests. In my blog, I used my unique thinking skills to come up with trendy fashion ideas to talk about. As fashion is becoming more of an art, fashion blogs are more popular than ever. In order to stand out, I incorporated my headshot and the pink blazer dress to match my pink theme. Pink is my favorite color and I used orange as an accent. I love how pink and orange correlate. Another way to prove my uniqueness is by making sure all the content on the blog has photos that are all me or my style pictures! Uniqueness is a skill that I take pride in because I always have a sense of originality. Click the image to be brought directly to the blogs! SOCIAL MEDIA
As the social media coordinator for OU Campus Activities Council, I design graphics and coordinate with graphic designers to create a cohesive and creative Instagram feed. OU Campus Activities Council is a university organization that has over 1,000 active participants. I have a daily posting schedule where I plan posts and the captions, then publish a time to be posted. This helps keep my posts organized since there is always something to post! This Instagram account is really important because the OU students use a lot of it for information! As the social media coordinator, I have learned how to manage several platforms and create cohesive content to maintain the desired brand. It can be difficult running a social media account for a council that is known all over OU. There are many expectations and rules to follow. I am able to manage many organizations and their content under Campus Activities Council.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
As a communications minor, it is critical to know how to plan and executive team commitments. At The University of Oklahoma, I am taking Team Communication. I am learning many skills in this class like how to manage a group, be a facilitator, and have a successful group. In our class, we were assigned groups for the semester. My communication skills have exponteilally improved in this class due to my ability to create a PERT chart. I designed this Program Evaluation Review Technique, to analyze all our tasks in our upcoming service project.
MEDIA KIT
This media kit was developed for educational purposes. All tactics used in this media kit were designed for a class campaign centered around Healthcare Worker Appreciation at the Norman Regional Hospital located in Norman, Oklahoma. This campaign raises awareness around the lack of support and resources in the healthcare workforce.
WRITING SAMPLE
This speech covers the point of view of the HR director of Healthcare Hearts. This organization supports local hospitals receiving employee support. During COVID-19, many healthcare workers experienced a new way of life in which they had to be frontline workers for years. These healthcare workers could not be present for their families and friends because of their urgent need to work overtime. This speech shows the dedication, support, and appreciation we must give healthcare workers.
