I believe that two powerful programs that make PR publications the way that they are is Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Indesign allows you to develop skills that set you apart from other candidates. Illustrator allows you to create social media headers and social media posts that you can create on Illustrator needed for a last minute event. These systems allow you to create creative content and design quick content as today's day and age expects instant gratification. Adobe Indesign allows you to develop and publish projects and page layouts. One thing that is really important for PR professionals when using Indesign is that it allows for interactive document. The help category is super beneficial in Indesign as when you are learning the ropes of the software, it allows you to learn new skills quickly. They have step by step instructions. Illustrator works better for single-page documents. Indesign allows the master page function which allows for large edits without having to do each page itself. This is crucial for PR professionals as they have to do work quickly and send it out. For example, a press release and this can be edited on Indesign. I believe that different text size, repetition, and alignment make a great design. Balance allows for a design to look more professional. Other PR practitioners can learn about these programs through LinkedIn learning. They can learn certain skills on there. In order to gain access to these programs, download Creative Cloud! The typesetting assignment was difficult for me because I have never used the programs before. The help tab guided me through things that I was confused about. I enjoyed the creative side of this project because there are so many awesome things you can add and change on Indesign.
